It basically pointed out that the great commission advises us to teach disciples to "obey" everything that he has commanded. how many times do we try to help people by sharing "what" the Bible says about a certain topic when what we should be doing is helping them to obey said topic? for instance, if I am teaching my son not to stand on the table, I can't just yell to him "Noah, get off the table." I must physically go be his obedience and take him off of the table as I am explaining the commandment to him. One day, he will understand the meat of the commandment enough to do it on his own. Until then, i am required to sacrifice time, energy, emotion, and patience with him...for this is love.
