A home should be like the Acts church, A gathering place for others.(another church) I believe inviting others into your home shows that you care, trust, and love the person. The church is for the whole body to come together and get feed and serve. While home groups/meetings is where discipleship starts. Thanks for the blog post. And it is exactly that with which I grew up. And I did learn a great deal about mature believers by listening to our guests and my parents talk. Her response was, "But I want to be church as a family." SO melted my heart! (Of course after I told her that children's church might be more entertaining, she totally went for it.) :) But not at home. Not at home.
